There are no absolute best coffees, but more suitable coffees, more suitable for the final product we want to obtain.
Our presence in most producing countries allows us to identify the types of coffee that make up the range we offer to our regular customers.
The evaluation criteria in choosing the various types are complex and articulated; they are not based exclusively on the absolute quality of the product, but analyze the consistency and continuity throughout the coffee year, the quality of the producer, his production capacity to organize and monitor shipments during the year. Finally, the quality-price ratio is evaluated to obtain a product that has a “centered” price based on its final use.
We often intervene with the producer, collaborating with him, so that his product is “refined” in terms of acidity, body, etc.
Finally, in our laboratory, we try to identify the ideal degree of roasting and extraction for that specific coffee depending on the use it will have, to collaborate with our customer in its use, after he has chosen it.
Blend for espresso, pod, capsule, filtered or percolated, for each use, that particular type of coffee can give different results, sometimes opposite. The in-depth knowledge of the coffees we market is our “added value”.
We do not sell blended coffees, we help our customers “create” their blend.
